Customized solutions for each construction site situation – this is what the Donauwoerth-based transport and lifting specialist Heavydrive GmbH is known for. In addition, the company advises resellers worldwide on how to market the assembly equipment. The Belgian company Glasboy, for example, who rent lifting equipment for the glass industry. At Polyclose in Gent, the European trade fair for window, door, sun protection, entrance and façade technology, a trained Heavydrive employee assists the Glasboy trade fair team.
Heavydrive GmbH continuously develops and improves its specialized glass transport and installation equipment. The patented HDL glass transport wagon, for example, is already available in 15 different models. Heavydrive employees are therefore well-trained in the use, rental and sales of this product group. As the company not only rents out its products - fromassembly cranes (MRK) and assembly lifts (ML) to suction systems (VSG) and glass assembly equipment (GMG) - but also provides professional machine operators, the staff has an enormous wealth of experience in the field of assembly.
Heavydrive GmbH – likewise a regularly exhibitor at trade fairs– shares this expert knowledge with its partners. Here, the Donauwoerth-based company relies on a unique strategy: Competent marketing at the point of sale promotes sales and consolidates partnerships. "This kind of cooperation enables us to understand what it is that drives our customers and what problems they have on their construction sites," managing director Guenter Uebelacker emphasises.
To begin with, Michel De Wolf, managing director at Glasboy, had been sceptical towards this kind of cooperation. However, the professionalism and technical expertise demonstrated by Heavydrive employee Steffen Jakowski swayed him right from the start. "Mr. Jakowski has shown us how to advertise HDL products a lot better. Without his excellent, steadfast advice, we would never have been able to deal with the rush of visitors at the fair," Michel De Wolf explains.
On this positive note, the Belgian company is looking forward to continuing its partnership with Heavydrive next year.
